The base wine for Donna Regina Rosé pairs Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris from the coolest vineyards, Peč and Njiva. The pronounced temperature differences between day and night and the rich soil give this cuvée a beautiful bouquet and elegant structure.
On arrival at the winery, the grapes are destemmed and mashed, and then gently pressed. After the first fermentation in the tank, the wine is bottled for secondary fermentation, which lasts a minimum of 24 months.
Disgorgement of the sparkling wines is carried out at intervals and reaches the final consumer in one to two months. This allows the wine to mature longer on the lees and a fresh cork preserves the quality of our sparkling wines for at least two years.
Expedition liqueur added – 3g/L
It charms with a wonderful interplay of fruity aromas of strawberry and lemon as well as ripe notes of biscuit and bread crust. Its pleasant body is beautifully balanced by an elegant freshness, and its perlage sparkles in delicate pink hues. This classic and distinctively elegant sparkling wine can be an excellent aperitif or a marvellous complement to fish and shellfish dishes.
