Malvasia is a regional variety typical of the Slovenian coast, which is also present to a lesser extent in Goriška Brda. It is a delicate wine with a pleasant, light bouquet, which goes perfectly with fish dishes.

Our Malvasia is produced on two soils with opposite exposures: on the terraces of Pongrat – southeast exposure and on the Poje plain – southwest exposure. The cool microclimate of both vineyards (a narrow valley next to a stream) with marked temperature variations between day and night has a favourable influence on the sensory characteristics of this wine. The marl base of the vineyards gives the wine a pleasant minerality.
