Also called “black sparkling wine”. A unique character, distinguished by Merlot and a hint of Cabernet Sauvignon, caught between the bubbles of a classically produced bottle of sparkling wine.
The selected vineyard in the valley of the Kožbanjšček stream produces a delicate Merlot, which our grandparents traditionally turned into a red table wine. However, since we wanted something more from this wine, we tried to take it along the path of classic sparkling wine. The result is a distinctly fruity, red sparkling wine with a hint of residual sugar that catches everyone’s attention. 36 months and more of bottle maturation.
Expedition liqueur added – 15 g/L
A vibrant ruby red colour with intense aromas of red berries and cherry. The sweetness is well balanced by a pleasant freshness. The years of maturation on the lees give this sparkling wine an elegant, smooth aftertaste and a delicate perlage. It can be the perfect complement for festive moments or for a wide variety of dishes.
